Our motto is “If you can dream it, together we can  create and manufacture it.” Let us help inspire your next creative project or product.

Founder’s/Owner’s story and what motivated them to start the business

Lani Harmony is the founder of The Urban Charm Inc. Her journey started 9 years ago  when she was working full time at a 9 to 5 job doing design work, going to school to  complete her teaching credential, as well as, raising her son as a single parent. She  started the business in 2014 with the hopes of being a stay-at-home mom and being  able to spend what little time she had left with her son Tyler.

Lani didn’t want to just be another jewelry brand when she started her business, so she  branched out and added marketing and branding services in addition to creating a  house brand of products that you can shop online at www.urbancharm.shop . Lani  learned the ins and outs of the metal and jewelry industries then took her experience  and knowledge to create a full-service design, branding and custom manufacturing  shop.

The challenges the business/market is facing

Lani says that one challenge we are facing is keeping up with demand. We need  additional employees, time to train them, and additional machines to service the  clientele we currently have. Our market niche is blooming and despite what happens  with the economy people always want custom products. This is what sets us apart from  our competition as we provide products and services that are unique to any other  market.

In our opinion qualities such as perseverance, flexibility, efficiency, and creativity have  been the cornerstone of our success in the jewelry industry sector. We found our niche  and have been able to self-sustain where other businesses in the industry have failed.

Maintaining a position at the forefront of the competition is vital to any business; at The  Urban Charm we ensure that our business is the leader in innovation by continually  advancing technologically, while still maintaining the integrity/quality of manufacturing  hand made products in the USA at a comparable price to overseas. This is how we can  continue to lead rather than fall behind our competitors.

The opportunities the business/market is facing

Owner Lani Harmony says, “what sets The Urban Charm apart from its competition is  our ability to craft a unique product or service specific to each individual client, brand, or  company’s needs. We provide excellent customer service. We do not have large MOQ’s  which make it more affordable for small businesses and provide room for new brands to  get off the ground. We believe in quality not quantity and truly helping our clients  dreams come to life no matter what scale.

We believe the award-winning formula for creating opportunities to any business is to  truly listen and connect individually with each client to establish attainable goals for their  project needs and successfully complete that work accordingly. We are continually  getting repeat orders form clients as well as new opportunities from referrals. The  opportunities are endless according to Lani.

Lani was recently awarded the title of “Best Woman-Owned Jewelry & Accessories  Design Company -USA”. She says, “I feel that the hard work we as a team put into our  business is what earned this accolade. I would have to say that all our projects have  contributed towards our success because without our client’s unique needs we would  have never advanced our skillsets or learned new techniques needed.”

The nature of each project is so unique that we are constantly having to research and  develop new ways to create products within certain time frames, budgets, resources  available and with the uses of the latest technologies.

What does the future hold for your business? Are there any specific projects or  major developments on the horizon that you would be willing to share with us?

We would like to expand and add new artists, engineers, designers, and makers to our  team. We want to further bridge the gap on ethical jewelry manufacturing in the USA as  opposed to overseas. We have enough manpower and brains to be able to do anything

other countries can do right here in the US. Therefore, we are currently looking for  investors to further our reach. We would love to partner with companies or individuals  who want to advance the jewelry manufacturing market in the USA. We are currently  trying to fund new machinery for our manufacturing labs. In addition to working capital  for materials needed we would like to progress with new tooling & dye machines,  updated laser engravers, wax casting machines and the latest CAD programs for our

engineers. If you are interested in partnering or getting involved please email us at  [email protected] or contact us through the website www.urbancharm.shop

Thank you for letting us share our story with you.
