About the Founder:
Karen is a cancer survivor and a mom of three amazing kids who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2014 and took it as a sign to transform her life. She went on a path of holistic healing through religion and powerful Peruvian superfoods and discovered her true purpose and a completely new way of living life. She took what is considered to be one of the hardest things a person can go through and completely transformed her life for the better. Being from Peru, Karen drew from her roots and discovered the incredible healing powers of her native country’s superfoods. From chia seeds and cacao powder to goldenberries and maca, Karen started incorporating these amazing foods into her diet and nourishing herself inside out. Accompanied by daily prayer and her trust in the Heavenly Father, Karen found a way to heal herself, strengthen her immune system, and fight off this serious disease. Her mission is to help others going through the same or similar diseases and show them that they have the power to heal within themselves.
The reason Karen funded the company is to help others in their healing journey, support them with inspiring, motivational, and educational stories, as well as offer high-quality Peruvian superfoods and therapeutical-grade supplements so that everyone can start the process from the fundamentals: a nourishing and anti-inflammatory diet.

Karen sells Criollo cacao and cacao nibs, chia seeds, goldenberries, maca powder, yacon syrup, ginger root powder, lucuma, and camu camu.
In addition to offering Peruvian superfoods, with every purchase we donate $1 to the Peace And Hope organization that helps the poor and protects them from violence and injustice. Their approach is funded on what they call the “circle of justice” which is rooted in three principles: Prevention, Intervention & Reform.
