Our story

Nurturing of the body, mind, and soul: this is the tagline for new natural wellness and CBD supplement company, Breele.
Founder and visionary for Breele, Eddie Siow, has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but stayed within the corporate world because he loved the company he worked for and more importantly for financial security. Like many others, Eddie lost his job during the pandemic.
Eddie felt it was time for a change and for him to pursue his aspiration of owning his own business. He formed a company a consulting and brokerage company, Invesco International.
A company inspired by the founder’s children
Eddie saw as his children grew up during high school and even into college, that they were dealing with mental and emotional issues.
One night at 3 a.m., Eddie found his son, vaping on the patio swing. As any concerned parent would, Eddie asked him what was going on and if he was okay. Instead of shrugging the issue off, he replied that couldn’t sleep as he was feeling anxious.
Eddie also noticed his daughter, suffers with severe anxiety and depression. Both were taking CBD as supplements to manage their condition. Being a concern parent, Eddie wants to find a solution to help his children.
As Eddie continued to see more and more people around him with severe anxiety and depression, his own emotions became more apparent. His wife pointed out that in the Seattle winters when there is lack of sun, Eddie also suffers from seasonal depression.
Motivated to help people feel better including himself, Eddie began researching CBD and its effects. Inspired and excited by his research, he launched Breele, an online company selling high quality CBD products. He named this company after his children, Brendon and Elena.
The beginning
While the new company is starting with selling CBD products online, we have already working on expanded product line that can help people feel better or improve their life style
Breele has an intention to grow from an e-commerce company to providing a platform to support small businesses and bloggers. While the website is currently an ecommerce retail site, we intend to grow out a wholesale portion of the business.
Breele currently works closely with two well-established American manufacturers for his CBD products. These companies were selected based on the high-quality products, their track records and experience in the CBD industry.

Breele’s values
The mission of Breele is nurturing of the body, mind, and soul.
Breele’ s core values are to help people feel better. Owning a company is not just about generating revenues alone, there needs to be a sense of responsibility for the community. As a business owners, Eddie wants to make an impact in some ways by providing products and services to help people feel better, one person at a time.
One of the projects of giving back to society is to forge a partnership with nonprofit organizations which addresses mental health. “Breele will donate a portion of sales, host charity events and donation drive to fund these organizations. We want to be part of a community to bring awareness of the mental health issues that have plagued our society and support organizations that support people with mental health issues”. Said Eddie
Owning an e-commerce site on a bigger scale and the future of the CBD Industry
While an online business takes time to build, Eddie plans to introduce CBD and other additional wellness products to Southeast Asia. With the exception of Thailand, the sale of CBD products is still considered illegal in the rest. Earlier this year, Eddie spent 4 months in Southeast Asia, exploring business opportunities in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. “During my travels to these countries I have met with many people from investors to government dignitaries who have shown strong interests in CBD products.
“Witnessing the success experienced by Thailand, I believe lawmakers in the neighboring countries will solidify the status of CBD soon, removing barriers to innovation, safety and, ultimately, the normalization of the industry. When that happens, even more growth —exponential growth— is on the horizon” Eddie said
Breele currently ships within the US, but the company has the potential and capability of shipping wholesale worldwide if they have met all the requirements of the country.
Challenge of starting a business
Eddie has been fortunate to work in the corporate world where he understands how to set up and operate a business. But operating his own business comes with its own set of challenges, such as stepping outside of his comfort zone and selling a product which he was not familiar.
Additionally, as startup company, Eddie had to dip into his personal savings to launch his company. Therefore, it is very important to operate a company efficiently based on a shoe string budget.
How Breele pushed through the challenges
“Waking up every day, you have to embrace the mindset that success requires hardwork and commitment. Every day is a learning opportunity. Failure is part of success and giving up is not an option. I draw my inspiration from my mentors, the inspirational books and articles I have read and listening to stories of successful entrepreneurs. My favorite entrepreneurial story is of that of Colonel Sanders”. Eddie said.
Eddie was fortunate to have mentors and support system that inspire him through difficult times. Running a business comes down to a mindset that as long as there is a clear goal of what a business is trying to achieve, the company will always forge forward. Success doesn’t come easily. It requires hard work, dedication, patience and good discipline.
Challenges of the CBD market and wellness industry
Starting a new CBD and wellness company in the midst of several other established sellers can pose a challenge. Larger companies have been around longer and they have the capital to expand rapidly.
Breele is still in the phase of establishing its brand. With a small team, Eddie and Manuj still do a lot of the work themselves. But they are excited about the opportunity ahead.
Eddie see the potential of Breele differently from their competitors. Aside from marketing heavily in the US, he plans to help bring CBD to countries that have not been introduced to the product yet.
Advice for entrepreneurs
If you have a burning desire to own a business, first of all, you have to figure out what you want to do. Educate yourself and learn what it takes to run a successful business. Then figure out how you will fund your business. You will need startup capital and at least 6 months of working capital. Many have great visions but do not have any written plan to properly execute and follow through with their vision. “A written business plan is a road map and should be created before launching a business,” Eddie said.
“Passion, resourcefulness, willingness to improvise, listen to others and strong determination to succeed is what you have to keep in mind as well if you want to be a successful entrepreneur yourself, Manuj said.
“There’s going to be a lot of work and sometimes you may not experience immediate results, but always remind yourself of your visions and your dreams. You will have good days and you will have bad days. But as long as you keep at it, learn from your experiences and don’t give up, I believe you will ultimately reach your goal.
While it may sound scary, starting a business is worthwhile. It takes a certain kind of person to be an entrepreneur. For Eddie and Manuj, owning their business gives them better control of their destiny, their time, their earnings and the freedom to structure their business.

Breele’s core mission is to help people feel better. We are here to educate, support and provide quality products to help people with their overall well-being. CBD is part of an overall lifestyle, so don’t think of it as some magical cure-all. Think of CBD as part of a holistic approach to wellness that includes plenty of physical activity, healthy foods, and other natural, plant-based remedies.
