NEXT MEMORY, is a niche perfumery and lifestyle brand.

Inspired by the traditional craftsmanship of the J.J Fernandes laboratory, in 2021 Next Memory restored and revived its legacy by dusting off the cobwebs, polishing the Century year old wooden cabinets and bringing the Atelier back to its former glory.

Fine Portuguese craftsmanship was awakened, inspiring the creation of a collection made with passion and artisanal finesse to symbolise a different olfactory journey where each creation carries a creative freedom and an artistic flair.

Every product is made by hand, one by one, giving every single piece a unique character. Imperfection is the only true form or perfection.

– Founder’s/Owner’s story and what motivated them to start the business

Dennis de Vries and Patrick van den Berg are the two founders. The same duo started SKINLIFE a multi-brand company with boutiques and an online shop with the best niche perfumery and cosmetics sourced from all over the world.

“When I was little, I didn’t dream of being a fragrance expert. Perfumery was a career choice that became my passion.” – explains Dennis

“I wanted to translate the charms of Portugal and its scent notes into olfactory memories.”

In 2015 we started our journey with a line of home fragrances called Skinlife, but as sales grew, the need arose to develop an independent brand and thus in 2020 Next Memory was born.

Geopolitical uncertainties, inflation and tightened financial conditions.

Global supply chains did not recover yet fully.

Fundamentally, it was a situation created by the pandemic and

subsequently remained, with suppliers not yet making up for lost time.

Consumers seek to consume in less quantity and do better choices, the emotional relationship with the product has to exist, so we choose to honour history and ancient, traditional craftsmanship in our brand.

The product must bring added value to the buyer.

– Advice to others about business

Create products with a soul, deliver the product to the customer accompanied by a service that honours the quality of the object they purchase.
