Veronika Matutyte is a determined and visionary healthcare professional, born on April 12, 1992, in the vibrant port city of Klaipeda, Lithuania. Following her early education in Klaipeda, she embarked on her journey in the medical field, demonstrating an innate passion for health sciences.

Veronika earned her medical degree from the prestigious Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2017. Always seeking to extend her understanding and ability to assist those in need, she further specialized in gerontology through a residency program at the same university in 2022. Veronika is also currently broadening her expertise in Healthcare Management, anticipating completion in 2023.

Her professional experience is as dynamic as her education. She began her career at Kupiskis Hospital in 2017, where she gained hands-on experience in a fast-paced medical environment. Moving forward, she served as a medical doctor at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kaunas Clinics from 2017-2022, where she honed her clinical skills and patient care philosophy.

In the quest to merge her medical knowledge with administrative acumen, Veronika undertook the role of an Administrator at the Cardiology Clinic of Kaunas Clinics from 2019-2020. This position gave her a valuable insight into the operational aspect of healthcare.

In 2020, she took a step further to delve into healthcare quality management, serving as a Project and Quality Manager at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kaunas Hospital. Her leadership and management skills, paired with her medical knowledge, allowed her to contribute significantly to the hospital’s continuous improvement efforts.

Currently, Veronika is serving as a gerontologist at Marijampole Hospital since May 2022. In this role, she is committed to providing exceptional care for the elderly, optimizing their health, and enhancing their quality of life.
